Although this anthology is Book two in the Blood Series, it is a stand-alone read with believable gay vampires. It is a winning combination of three stories: one hot, one sweet and one dark - sort of like a chocolate lava cake to be read instead of eaten. Book one, Blood Desires, which contains three stories by Laura Baumbach, is now on my must-read list.

Blood Claim is an anthology of three extremely wonderful writers. All three stories involved vampires of course but that was the limit of the connection. In one, I found an anti-hero who found this heart; in another I discovered that love can overcome the ultimate power; and in the last, I found that just because you are a creature of the night, does not mean that you can't be a good guy and act as such. All three showed just what love can do to overcome major obstacles. Vampire lovers will not want miss having Blood Claim in their libraries. In my opinion, each story is worthy of being a solo book in itself, which should tell you a lot about the anthology.

This volume features a trio of M/M tales from three of the genre's hottest authors.

This is another excellent anthology from MLR Press that gives us three different aspects of vampire passion and love.

All three stories, although very different in content and style, complement each other well, and left me looking forward to reading more from these imaginative and creative authors. Highly recommended.

Blood Claim is an anthology revolving around the lives of vampires who have completely different lives and personalities. Each story is vastly different with characters that take the stage and hold the reader from the start. I enjoyed how each story was inclusive on its own and still kept with the main theme. The authors created believable characters who take on a life of their own in each of the short stories. I liked how the paranormal aspects of each story added to the mystique of the plotline. I look forward to reading other books by these authors.

Blood Claim was a wonderful book. Each story was wonderfully written and has a different lesson in the art of giving unconditional love. Acceptance and forgiveness were constant themes throughout the stories. The sex was wonderfully erotic with more than enough heat to get you through a winter's night. Laura Baumbach, Angela Fiddler and Jet Mykles bring passion and suspense laced with morsels of humor in Blood Claim. Readers of the genre will enjoy Blood Claim from beginning to end.
