'Tis said of love that it sometimes goes, sometimes flies; runs with one, walks gravely with another; turns a third into ice, and sets a fourth in a flame: it wounds one, another it kills: like lightning it begins and ends in the same moment: it makes that fort yield at night which it besieged but in the morning; for there is no force able to resist it.
--Miguel de Cervantes
Michael wears the right clothes, knows how to adjust his manner to suit the environment, and certainly has no trouble finding someone to sleep with. But he's never managed any significant relationships, preferring the safety of what remained within his control. All of that is blown away when he literally bumps into Adam, a Dolph Lundgren look-alike. From the moment they meet, all of Michael's carefully constructed barriers melt away. As the music starts and they sway in the dark, these two men are about to embark on a journey which could lead them to greater happiness than either has ever known.
