'Tis said of love that it sometimes goes, sometimes flies; runs with one, walks gravely with another; turns a third into ice, and sets a fourth in a flame: it wounds one, another it kills: like lightning it begins and ends in the same moment: it makes that fort yield at night which it besieged but in the morning; for there is no force able to resist it.

When Taylor meets Sean online, both men are looking friendship rather than a relationship. Even after their first sizzling kiss, Sean tells Taylor he wants to take it slow, but Fate sometimes steps in and blows hesitancy out of the water. Then again, unforeseen circumstances, like a worldwide pandemic can really slow things down. Let's face it, kissing through a mask is no fun at all, and social distancing makes sharing a growing affection almost impossible.
Worse than all of that, with Covid cases escalating and the death rate climbing on a daily basis, both men must face the truth...there may not be enough time for them to see their friendship become something more, even though that's what they now long for with every fiber of their beings.
